A flat washer spreads the clamping load of a bolt or nut over a wider area, protects the surface beneath, and bridges oversized or clearance holes. The two questions that decide the order are material and pattern: mild steel (usually zinc plated or hot-dip galvanized) for general and structural work, or stainless steel where corrosion resistance matters. We supply both, to metric and inch standards.
These are also called plain washers, penny washers, fender washers, repair washers and structural washers. The details we need to quote are simple: the bolt size the washer fits, the pattern (standard, large or structural), the material (mild steel or stainless), the finish and the quantity.

Do you supply both mild steel and stainless steel flat washers?
Yes. We export mild steel flat washers (plain, zinc plated or hot-dip galvanized) and stainless steel flat washers in A2 (304) and A4 (316), so buyers can match the washer to the bolt and the environment.
What is the difference between a standard and a large / penny washer?
A standard flat washer (DIN 125) has an outside diameter sized to the bolt. A large or penny washer (DIN 9021, a fender washer in the US) has a much wider outside diameter to spread load over a larger area and bridge oversized or clearance holes, especially in soft materials.
Do you supply ASTM F436 structural washers for the US?
Yes. Alongside metric DIN and ISO washers, we supply inch-series washers to US patterns, including ASTM F844 general-purpose washers and ASTM F436 hardened structural washers used with A325 / F3125 bolted connections.
