Overview

One product, two standards systems - so US and UK buyers can order to spec.

Threaded rod is one of the most widely shipped fastening items in the world, used wherever something needs to be anchored, suspended or held together over a length. The challenge for an importer is matching the exact standard, grade and finish a project calls for. We supply to both the metric and inch systems, so the same enquiry can cover a UK contractor on DIN studding and a US distributor on ASTM anchor rod.

Common names for this product include threaded rod, all-thread, fully threaded rod, studding and stud bar. Whichever term you use, the key details we need are the same: diameter and thread, the standard, the steel grade, the finish and the length. Share those and we can confirm feasibility, price and lead time quickly.

For US buyers

Inch sizes with UNC / UNF threads to ASTM standards - A193 B7 for high-strength studs, A307 for general grade, and F1554 anchor rods (grades 36, 55 and 105) for structural hold-downs. Hot-dip galvanizing is available for exterior and structural use.

For UK & Europe

Metric studding to DIN 975 (one-metre lengths) and DIN 976 (cut studs), in property classes 4.8, 8.8 and 10.9, with bright zinc-plated (BZP) or hot-dip galvanized finishes, plus stainless A2 / A4 where corrosion resistance matters.

FAQ

Threaded rod export questions.

Common questions from importers, distributors and project buyers in the US, UK and other markets.

Do you supply threaded rod in inch (UNC) sizes for the US market?

Yes. Alongside metric studding, we supply inch-series threaded rod with UNC and UNF threads to ASTM standards, including A193 B7 and F1554 anchor rod grades, for buyers in the United States.

What is the difference between DIN 975 and DIN 976?

DIN 975 refers to fully threaded rod supplied in standard one-metre lengths, while DIN 976 covers threaded studs and cut-to-length bars. Both can be supplied in the same grades and finishes.

Can you provide hot-dip galvanized rod and material certificates?

Yes. Hot-dip galvanized (HDG) finishing is available for structural and outdoor use, and material test certificates such as EN 10204 3.1 can be arranged depending on the grade and quantity.

What is the minimum order for export?

Exports generally need a minimum of about 1 tonne (or 1 CBM) per item to be viable once packaging and shipping are accounted for. Share your specification and target quantity and we'll confirm the details.
